Benign prostatic hyperplasia and lower urinary tract syndromes affect many men and are responsive to integrative medicine interventions. Specific supplements and herbs as well as nutritional and mind-body interventions can have significant impact on symptoms. Chronic prostatitis and pelvic pain syndrome are difficult to treat with western medicine, but there are several interventions that can help including the treatment of leaky gut syndrome. Epididymitis is an inflammatory condition that responds to anti-inflammatory approaches with diet, supplements and mind-body approaches. Peyronie’s syndrome is common and also difficult to treat with western medicine approaches, but dietary, topical and oral supplement therapies can be effective. Male infertility is an important factor with variable causes and effective integrative approaches.
