Charles L'Éplattenier lived and worked in La-Chaux-de-Fonds and exhibited in Munich in 1909, showing typical Swiss landscapes and mountain views. He died after falling from a rock on the morning of 7 June 1946, while re-touching his painting Doubs Valley. His works featured in the exhibition Charles
