Modern dance in one act with choreography and libretto by Graham, music by Hovhaness, set by Noguchi, and lighting by Rosenthal. Premiered 6 Sept. 1963 by the Martha Graham company at the Prince of Wales Theatre in London, with Hinkson, Ross, and Clive Thompson. Graham's adaptation of the myth of Circe was created as a homage to Robin Howard, founder of London Contemporary Dance School and Theatre.
