A popular word-association test consisting of 100 nouns, adjectives, and verbs selected by the US psychologist Grace H. Kent (1875–1973) and the Russian-born US psychologist Aaron J. Rosanoff (1878–1943) and published in the American Journal of Insanity in 1910. The words are all emotionally neutral, unlike some other word-association tests, and norms obtained by counting and classifying the associations given by 1,000 normal respondents are supplied.
