A free discovery service, the Oxford Index lets you search across Oxford’s digital academic content with a single click and provides intelligent recommendations of the best related sources for your research. Designed to support the way researchers look for information online, the Index guides users through the initial steps of the research process and fosters intuitive discovery of related content every step of the way.
The Oxford Index Beta will evolve rapidly over the coming months. Each release will see the addition of hundreds of thousands of new content items and upgrades to site functionality, including enhancements that will make the journey from the Index to full-text even more seamless> New enhancements include:
- Connect to Your Library: expand your research by searching your university or local library’s full print and online offerings via a widget available within the Oxford Index
- Overview Pages: a quick, at-a-glance view of a single topic with smart, integrated linking to additional resources – illuminating a roadmap through trusted Oxford content
- Index integration into Oxford products: get real-time recommendations for related content and search the breadth of the Index directly from within University Press Scholarship Online, Oxford Journals, Oxford Handbooks Online, and more with the Oxford Index underbar
