In the author's view, particulate AlloDerm (Lifecell Corp, The Woodlands, TX) is a viable alternative for localized lip and nasolabial-fold augmentation for patients who desire a modest, long-lasting improvement. Recovery from this minimally invasive injection is much shorter than that from strip-type AlloDerm insertion or from moderate- to large-volume fat grafting.
