Reactivation of Epstein-Barr virusinfection and polyclonal expansionof lymphocytes is well-documentedin solid organ andhematopoietic stem cell transplantrecipients and is considereda potential precursor tolymphoma. We report ananalogous case of posttransplantationpolyclonal lymphoproliferative disorder ina patient with humanimmunodeficiency virus infection whowas successfully treated withantiretroviral therapy.
