Two errors appeared in the 1 June 2008 issue of the journal (Newall AT, Brotherton JML, Quinn HE, McIntyre PB, Backhouse J, Gilbert L, Esser MT, Erick J, Bryan J, Formica N, MacIntyre CR. Population seroprevalence of human papillomavirus types 6, 11, 16, and 18 in men, women, and children in Australia. Clin Infect Dis 2008; 46:1647-55). On page 1648, the last sentence of the Statistical Methods section should read “Male and female subjects were analyzed separately [not “Male and female subjects were unloosed separately”]. On page 1653, in the Potential Conflicts of Interest section, the correct title of the study of human papillomavirus DNA prevalence in Australian women is “WHINURS,” or “Women, Human papillomavirus genotype prevalence, in Indigenous and Non-indigenous Australian women, living in Urban/rural/Remote areas Study” [not “Women's HPV Indigenous Non-indigenous Urban Rural Study”]. The publisher regrets these errors.
