In the 1 November 2009 issue of the journal, in the Brief Report by Krause et al (Krause JC, Ghandil P, Chrabieh M, et al. Very late-onset group B Streptococcus meningitis, sepsis, and systemic shigellosis due to interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase-4 deficiency. Clin Infect Dis 2009;49(10):1393–1396), the mutation 1175-1 G>T, which is discussed in the fifth sentence of the Results section and which is shown in Figure 2B, is incorrect; this mutation should be 1126-1 G>T. The corrected sentence therefore should read as “The first one, 1126–1 G>T (located in the splicing site of exons 9–10), leads to a 10-base pair deletion at the beginning of exon 10 in the cDNA of the patient”; a corrected version of Figure 2 is provided below. The authors regret this error. Figure 2
