Catholic bishops have added to fundamentalism the term biblical Christianity. Biblical Christianity covers what they mean — the millions of evangelicals beyond the fundamentalist label. It is argued that biblical Christianity is the form of Christian practice and belief that finds its basis, limits, and primary content in the Bible, in which community life and worship are organized around and in conscious imitation of the forms provided in the Bible.
