Quantification into predicate‐position is defended. While it is denied that such quantification is either substitutional or disguised referential‐ objectual, it is admitted that the predicates non‐referentially introduce (abstract) objects. Quantification into sentence‐position is rejected in favour of quantification over propositions; but non‐objectual quantification into adverbial position is defended.
