This chapter discusses the four differences in the ways to view the process of party competition. These differences involve the relationship between the policies and positions of a party, the political significance of political arguments or spin, creativity, and the amount of choice parties have. Based on these, it is argued that New Labour’s electoral future remains uncertain.
