This chapter focuses on the role of pharmacists in promotion health for travellers. An increasing number of pharmacy customers are travelling to remote parts of the world for both pleasure and business. Younger travellers have higher risk of illness. Pharmacists are well placed to give advice about staying healthy aboard including immunization, malaria prophylaxis, safety, and hygiene as well as the use of sunscreens and treatment of diarrhea.
