This chapter discusses the activities, cognitive development, and learning progress of Ricky when he was between 21–22 months old. At this stage, the toddler was able to acquire knowledge in a variety of domains and showed rapid progress in several areas of development within a very short time span. He also demonstrated behaviours that suggested progress in the development of his self-concept, his object concept, and his understanding of the relation of himself to others.
