This chapter reviews the following books: German Politics and the Jews: Dusseldorf and Nuremberg, 1910–1933 by Anthony Kauders, Das Wahlverhalten der judischen Bevölkerung in der Weimarer Republik by Martin Liepach, and Jewish Emancipation in a German City by Shulamit S. Magnus. The three books deal with the politics of the Jewish–German symbiosis, and two of them make a genuine contribution, at least from the methodological perspective, to the available literature.
