Key Issues in Creativity and Development

Show Summary Details

The chapter is a collaboration of all the theoretical issues concerning creativity studies and developmental psychology, which is accomplished through several revisions of abstracts and reactions to commentaries on every author's work. Along with this is a one-month solicitation of each scholar's response to questions pertaining to the influence of social interaction on children's suppression of innate creativity, the different dimensions of development and creativity, and the interplay between community involvement and individual functioning in the progression of creativity studies. After gathering individual reactions, all answers are combined and edited many times for the benefit of future research, the facilitation of skills enhancement of children, and the improvement of the well being of people in their latter years through avoiding risk factors as well as strengthening human and physical resources.
