There are certain multiracial congregations churches such as the Fort Bend Community Church in Houston that attempt to cater to church-goers of different races and ages by holding worship services and Sunday school classes in three different languages. Although this church is doing pretty well as it has been able to organize a multiracial ministry planning committee, leaders of the church still believe that God is asking them to reach out more. They have to identify concrete goals and establish a vision of what they aim to achieve. Also, they should be prepared for the challenges that such a plan might be facing. This chapter attempts to extract such information from a three-year study that focuses on multiracial congregations across the country.
