Show Summary Details

In Chapter 7 the results are presented from the second (quantitative) and third (qualitative) studies conducted on the nature and long-term correlates of homophobic bullying. Data is presented from a follow-up study of 119 men and women who participated in the original retrospective study discussed in Chapter 5. Extracts from the interviews are integrated into the discussion of statistical findings to provide a context in which to interpret the data. Overall, this chapter aims to provide a rich picture of the long-term impact former victims believed school-based homophobic bullying had upon their lives.
