The use of standardized tests and measures can supplement information obtained from interviewing the child. This chapter provides information about instruments for both children and adolescents. It covers instruments developed specifically to gather data on possible indicators of sexual abuse and trauma, and to measure the impact of sexual abuse. Data from generic tests which have been employed with sexually abused children and adolescents is presented.
