This chapter discusses various creation myths, including that of humans and their early mythic “history” from all areas and periods of Laurasian mythology. These myths sustain the initial reconstruction of the Laurasian story line. Their (more or less) detailed study has made it sufficiently clear that we are indeed dealing with a widely spun web of tales that agree with each other in content, form, and order, in spite of individual local developments. They form the core of Laurasian mythology.
