On her way to Hyderabad, the author again thought of Sarojini Naidu because it is her native state. She stayed at the house of Sir Akbar Hyderi, whom she met at Delhi and who was most interested in Osmania University. The mistress of the house was Lady Amina, a member of the Tyebji family. Begam Sherif Ali, a cousin of Lady Amina, was an international figure in the feminist world. Three other women whom the author met in Lady Amina's house were Princess Durru Shehwar and the two daughters of Sarojini Naidu. In Hyderabad, the author also saw Kamala Devi.
