This chapter is primarily concerned with the different dispute resolution methods that are currently being used. The new practices that are being used to improve these methods are also studied in this chapter. It is noted that many countries seem to prefer resolving disputes through the regulatory-based adjudication method. Although some of the European, Asian, and North American countries have telecom regulatory bodies that deal with dispute resolution, their procedures are not uniform and even differ in terms of substance and nuances. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods are being developed in these countries to provide efficient dispute resolution. The efficiency of these methods still needs to be completely established. This chapter also provides a brief discussion on these ADR methods.
