This chapter analyzes the responses to the surveys and questionnaires that were received from the regulatory bodies and stake-holders of different countries. The survey was sent to countries that had well developed telecom dispute settlement mechanisms, and is composed of eight main sections. Some of these sections are discussed in this chapter. This analysis reveals the different key issues of the sector, including how these are currently being handled and the practices that can be used in dispute resolution mechanisms. Part of the chapter is focused on the efficiency of the tribunal-based and regulatory based adjudication, which is used in problem resolution. The analysis may also be used to help other countries improve the efficiency of their telecom dispute resolution processes and mechanisms.
