This chapter looks at some general points that need to be considered while the exemptions for disclosure are being applied. The sections where these exemptions are located are identified in the discussion. It provides several cases where these exemptions were ignored, thanks to the public interest override in disclosure; it is stated that public interest will always overrule private interest when disclosing information. It then discusses some organizations that have been excluded from the RTI Act. A provision of partial disclosure is also discussed in this chapter.
