The amalgamation of others into the keystone loop of acceptance and preference depends on the relationship between ourselves and others. To understand the amalgamation, we must understand the relations, especially those that lead to our acceptance and preference for what others accept and prefer and their reciprocation. There is a dramatic play within such relations, as any wise person knows. This chapter considers love and how the transcendence from desire to autonomous preference takes us beyond the love of bondage to autonomous love.

Keywords: love; acceptance; preference; desire; transcendence; autonomous love
