Some Synoptic Observations

Each textual chapter in this study has made comparisons between the Hebrew text and the individual translations. However, this does not allow for occasional synoptic comparison of the translations themselves. This chapter, therefore, deals with some synoptic observations that show the development of some semantic themes. Following the previous sub‐division of verses in each textual section, those features are identified that suggest departure from the other translations and therefore may have hermeneutical implications.
