Drawing upon the issues raised in the previous chapter, this chapter identifies a range of regional trends that have arisen from the course of interviews and events conducted by the authors. It examines some trends such as the rate of ratification in a particular region and reasons for states choosing to ratify or otherwise OPCAT.
