It continues by examining the relevant substantive provisions of these instruments, noting special difficulties in the fields of pay, access to employment, working conditions, harassment, and sexual harassment. It examines the available remedies and means of enforcement. It also examines the directives supplementing the principle of non-discrimination on the ground of sex, specifically those on part-time work, fixed-term employees, temporary agency work, and the self-employed.
