This chapter considers some of the localized geopolitical struggles in Bosnia. Zvornik, Doboj, and Jajce were indicative of how minority returns were highly contingent on local political dynamics. While illustrating the importance of local context, they also characterized common patterns in the struggle to achieve minority returns across the rest of Bosnia, which peaked between the years of 2000 and 2002.
