What did Native participation in Anglo churches during the Awakening actually look like? Drawing on an analysis of the records of several Anglo-American churches, this chapter makes more concrete an otherwise abstract conversation about the precise nature of Indian affiliations during and after the Awakening. In general, this discussion demonstrates that Indians affiliated less frequently and for a shorter time period than historians generally assume.
