This chapter focuses on new technologies as spaces for creativity. In the process of creating new projects and ideas, people develop a new sense of confidence in their own learning potential. Creativity is defined as the original ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules and patterns to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc. A creative person in the domain of technology is someone who can imagine new ways of expressing their competence. In the process, she gains a sense of confidence as someone who can learn to act successfully and creatively in the digital landscape, find help when necessary and have perseverance over technical difficulties. As a child gains competence, her confidence to try more challenging tasks increases, becoming more likely to continually try new strategies to achieve a goal. As a child experiments and manipulates his or her creations, he or she will find creative solutions that lead to success.
