This final chapter returns to questions about Baul identity in order to argue that an examination of Baul women makes it clear that there are many diverse ways to live one's life as a Baul. It also returns to the question of agency and argues that rather than be caught among conflicting expectations of them, Baul women actively respond to those expectations by selectively drawing on some and rejecting others.
