Born 8 October 1710, in Paris; died 17 April 1795, in Paris.

Sculptor. Allegorical subjects, mythological subjects, figures.

He was a son of Gabriel Allegrain, and married Pigalle's sister, but was less talented than his father or his brother-in-law. Some biographers state that he did much of the work signed by Pigalle. He was a professor and then director of the Académie
