Born 17 October 1577, in Florence; died 1621, in Florence.

Painter, draughtsman. Religious subjects, mythological subjects, portraits.

Florentine School.

Studied initially under his father Alessandro, then left to pursue his studies under Lodovico Cardi da Cigoli and Gregoria Pagani. One of his first paintings was a View of S Manetto for the Cappella dell'Antella in SS Annunziata, painted in 1602.
