Born 1660, in Communanza, near Ascoli, according to Mariette; died 1738.

Painter, fresco artist. Religious subjects, portraits, genre scenes, animals.

Amorosi travelled to Rome with the intention of studying for the priesthood, but was encouraged by Giuseppe Ghezzi to commit to a career as an artist. He painted frescoes for the entrance chamber in the town hall of Civita Vecchia
