The daughter of the painter Fortin, Delphine Arnould de Cool exhibited at various Paris Salons and at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1859 and 1921. She obtained an honourable mention in 1859 and was awarded gold and silver medals at the 1878 and 1889 Expositions Universelles and at exhibitions in Rouen and Madrid.
