Miniaturist.

Autissier studied under Vautrin, and then became a soldier. After his military service he settled in Brussels to work as a miniaturist. He quickly found fame and travelled through Belgium, Holland and France, putting on successful exhibitions in Brussels, Gent and Antwerp in Belgium, Augustenborg in Denmark, and in Paris.
