Painter, draughtsman, decorative designer. Religious subjects, portraits. Designs for tapestries.

Florentine School.

Il Bacchiaca studied first under Perugino, then Franciabigio and finally under Andrea del Sarto. It was the latter - as much a friend as a teacher - who influenced the artist most.
