A pupil of Berstamm and Fumadelles, Daniel Bacqué produced decorative sculptures for parks. He exhibited regularly from 1900 at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris, receiving a third-class medal in 1910, a second-class medal in 1911 and the gold medal in 1922. He
