Claude Baillon began his career working as an assistant to J. Juteau making stained glass windows in Brest. After moving to La Ferté-Milon, he began to explore new techniques in stained glass, as well as mosaics, tapestries, engraved glass tiles and murals. His early works were often religious in nature, but later he began producing architectural decorations for office blocks
