Born 1692, in La Cava, near Naples; died c. 1773.

Painter, engraver (burin).

Studied painting under Francesco Solimena and engraving under Andrea Magliard. Antonio Baldi produced portraits of the Emperor Charles VI, King Don Carlos of Sicily, the doctor Nicolas Cyrillus, and Maria Aurelia Caracciola. Heinecken refers to the large number of engravings he made from works by Solimena and Guido Reni.
