Born 18 February 1858, in St-Génis-Laval (Rhône); died 13 May 1905, in Charbonnières (Rhône).

Painter. Landscapes, flowers, animals.

Against the wishes of his family, Armand Balouzet was encouraged by the painter Leberecht Lortet to travel to Switzerland in order to study. He exhibited for the first time at the Lyons Salon of 1878 and went on to exhibit at the Paris Salon
