Engraver (burin).

The son of the engraver Maurice Baquoy, Jean Charles was one of a number of excellent engravers of vignettes in the 18th century. He engraved the plates for a translation of Ovid's Metamorphoses, as well as for La Fontaine's Fables, after J.-B. Oudry, and Contes (Stories), after Eisen.
