Born c. 1736; died 8 March 1810, in Marylebone, London.

Miniaturist.

Christopher Barber was admitted to the Society of Artists in 1763, but subsequently expelled for having exhibited at the Free Society. Between 1770 and 1808, he exhibited many small-scale landscapes and female portraits at the Royal Academy, including his self-portrait in 1808.
