In the church of St-Germain at Sully-sur-Loire, there is a painting of Christ Crucified, which bears the date 1718 and the signature of Barrère. This work is probably by Jean Louis Barrère, as is the Portrait of the Prior of Ste-Geneviève, Louis Chaubert, which bears the same signature, and was engraved by Fiquet in 1760. This
