Paul Bazé was a pupil of Lucien Simon at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, winning the Chenavard Prize in 1926. He exhibited regularly in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français, receiving an honourable mention in 1926 for Returning from the Grape Harvest. He won the Premier Grand
