Lucien Bégule studied with Chatigny in Lyons. In 1874, he joined up with the painter Miciol to work on stained glass and set up a workshop, of which he became the sole director after 1880. In collaboration with Charles Lameire, Lebayle, Perrodin, Eugène Grasset, Delalande and Jacquesson de la Chevreuse, he strove to obtain
