Engraver (etching/burin).

Enrolled at the École des Beaux-Arts in 1812, and studied drawing and composition under David and Regnault, and engraving under Christophe Guérin in Strasbourg. He worked on several major projects, including the Laurent Museum, the Versailles Galleries, the Coronation of Charles X and the Scientific Expedition
