Born 1856, in Châteaubriant; died 1911.

Painter. Genre scenes.

Possibly a pupil of Albert Cabaud, Bellet exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, at which he was commended in 1885. A posthumous retrospective of his work was given at the Salon of 1912. In 2003, his paintings featured in the exhibition Brittany, Land of Painters (Bretagne, terre des peintres)
