Michele Bisi studied successively under Bartolozzi, Rosapina and Longhi. He engraved from originals by Andrea Appiani. His wife Ernesta also studied under Longhi and collaborated with her husband on his work Pinacoteca of the Royal Palace of the Arts and Sciences, Milan.
